Every Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. we open the church doors to hold an informal morning of tea, coffee and conversation.

Every week we organise a different activity and every third Wednesday of the month we hold an Organ Session on our 1877 Henry Willis organ at 11am.

This week:

Christopher Strange and Tilly Chester - organ and viola

Having both been educated at Chetham’s School of Music they began performing together in early 2016 and recent concert venues include Brentwood Cathedral and the Royal College of Music.
Tilly Chester studies at the Royal College of Music as a foundation scholar supported by a Rosalind Leney award and an Arthur Bliss Award. Tilly has performed in the British Paraorchestra and the National Youth Orchestra, being principal viola in the latter.
Christopher Strange holds the Graham Rogers organ scholarship at Chelmsford Cathedral and is in his third year at the Royal College of Music where he studies with Margaret Phillips. Prior to this he held similar positions at Grosvenor Chapel, London and Manchester Cathedral.
