As our venue is entirely seated and seating is unreserved it is best to arrive early.

The Impressions are an American music group from Chicago, originally formed in 1958. The group has comprised at various times Curtis Mayfield, Sam Gooden, Fred Cash, Leroy Hutson, Arthur Brooks, Ralph Johnson, Reggie Torian, Richard Brooks, Nate Evansand Jerry Butler.

Inductees into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, The Impressions are best known for their 1960s string of hits such as "For your precious love", "It's All Right", "Keep on Pushing", "You've Been Cheatin' ", "I'm so proud", "Gypsy Woman", "We're a Winner", "Choice of Colors" - many of which were heavily influenced by gospel music and served as inspirational anthems for the Civil Rights Movement.

They are also 1998 Grammy Hall of Fame Inductees for their hit, "People Get Ready". This song was also chosen as one of the Top 10 Best Songs of All Time by a panel of music industry alumni including Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, Hal David and more in Mojo Magazine.
