On Thursday 15th June join the winner of the Ted Hughes Prize 2017, Hollie McNish, for the London debut of her new poetry collection, Plum.

Hollie McNish has thrilled and entranced audiences the length and breadth of the UK with her compelling and powerful performances. Plum, her debut for Picador Poetry, is a wise, sometimes rude and piercingly candid account of her memories from childhood to attempted adulthood. This is a book about growing up, about flesh, fruit, friendships, work and play – and the urgent need to find a voice for the poems that will somehow do the whole glorious riot of it justice.

Hollie will be joined by two of her favourite poets who will be announced soon

This event is being supported by The Pool, who are amongst some of Hollie's biggest fans. In the lead up to Hollie’s performance, you will have the chance to watch Hollie read a selection of poems from Plum and see her exclusive early interview with The Pool on their website, www.the-pool.com.

This is an adult event but babes in arms and liberal-parented teenagers welcome.

You will be able to purchase books on the night and Hollie will be signing books after her performance.
