A 20TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT TO CELEBRATE SIMON JEFFES (1949-1997)
It has been 20 years since the composer and creator of the Penguin Cafe Orchestra Simon Jeffes sadly passed away in December 1997.
To commemorate Simon, his son Arthur, and his band Penguin Cafe will perform the last studio album titled Union Cafe in its entirety at the Union Chapel.
Penguin Cafe was founded by Arthur Jeffes in 2009, bringing together a talented and disparate group of musicians from the likes of Suede, Gorillaz and Razorlight, initially to perform his father's legacy of world renowned Penguin Cafe Orchestra music after his untimely death.
